The Dragon Hunters by James Russell

This is one of my favourite picture books. James Russell is an editor at the New Zealand Herald and wrote these books about his own sons named Paddy and Flynn.
Their first adventure as Dragon Hunters takes them high up into a cave to rescue their chocolate lab, Coco. Coco was whisked away one rainy day by a dragon.
