I think this is a good book because of the way the author tells it and the perspectives involved. I recommend this book to people who like a bit of humour.

Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibbotson

Book review by Georgia
This is a really good book! It is about an orphan called Maia who has found out that she has some relatives up on the Amazon, and she travels there with a governor named Miss Minton. She is really excited to meet them, but gets a big disappointment. When Maia arrives, she meets a mysterious and lonely boy, and together, with Miss Minton, and the annoying presence of the Carters, (Maia's relatives) she sets off on an  amazing adventure.
This book is available in the library (Unless someone has taken it out to read because it is so good!!!!!)

My feelings on this book...
I found this book very moving. It was a sad book that I found I could not stop reading. This is a book filled with courage, love and promise.
